I was reading about the Huling family tragedy, and I'm particularly struck by the strength of the surviving sibling, Billy. Can you imagine the sheer terror he felt, and yet he managed to keep his wits about him? Pretending to be dead at 11 years old while your world is shattering around you—it's beyond comprehension for anyone, let alone a child. It's a testament to his bravery, even amidst the unfathomable loss of his mother and siblings. It just amazes me, thinking about the courage it must take to rebuild your life after such a traumatic event. Does anyone know how Billy has been doing in the years since the trial and conviction? My thoughts are with him, as well as the entire Huling family, as they continue to navigate life without their loved ones.
