As someone who's followed the Mary Beal case from the very beginning, I can't stop thinking about her beloved dogs. The fact that she never missed walking them paints a vivid picture of her commitment and love that dogs seem to bring out in a person. It breaks my heart to think of them being left alone during all this turmoil. I can only hope that they found loving homes after her disappearance. It makes you wonder if they sensed something was wrong before anyone else realized. It's just another tragic element of this case, and I hope Mary's memory and kindness live on through those who knew her, neighborhood walks and all. If anyone has any info on what happened to Mary's dogs afterward, please share. It's little details like these that help keep her spirit alive in our minds.
