Has anyone else looked into the role that Rockefeller Park might have played in the Zoldman case? I'm curious as to why the perpetrators chose that specific location to carry out such an awful act. It seems like a risky move, given that it's a public area and someone could have stumbled upon them. Could it have been chosen because they were familiar with it, or maybe because they thought it was secluded enough not to attract attention at that time of day? I feel so deeply for the families who lost their loved ones in such a horrific manner. It's unsettling to think about how the victims, including Joseph Zoldman, were taken from their community with such cruel intent. If anyone has more insight or can point me toward resources about criminal activity in Cleveland during that era, I'd love to dive deeper into understanding the context of why Rockefeller Park might have been seen as a feasible crime scene.
