Has anyone else taken a deep dive into the motel where these tragedies occurred? Mid City Inn in Euless doesn't have the best reputation, and I'm curious about the kind of environment that breeds or allows such horrific incidents. It’s unsettling to think how someone like Jason Alan Thornburg could operate unnoticed, even if just for a short while. My heart goes out to Lauren Phillips' family, along with the families of David Lueras and Maricruz Mathis. This whole situation leaves me with so many questions about safety and oversight in such places. How do we allow these spaces to become breeding grounds for violence, and what changes need to happen to prevent tragedies like this in the future? It’s a small comfort, but I hope this case brings more awareness to the situation and prompts some much-needed changes. Stay safe, everyone.
