Has anyone else been following the story of Sylvia Vogel's tragic case? I can't imagine what her family went through for all those years without answers. It's comforting to know that the advancements in DNA technology finally brought some long-awaited justice. I think it's amazing how these cold cases are getting a new lease on life with modern forensics. It's chilling to realize how John Floyd Thomas Jr. managed to evade capture for so long, operating under the radar. His pattern of targeting elderly women who lived alone is truly terrifying. I often wonder if there's more we can do as a community to protect vulnerable members of society. I hope Sylvia's family found some peace in the end, knowing justice was served, even if it was decades later.
