I've been following this case for a while, and something that stands out to me is the timing of the murder during the guard shift change. It feels like a glaring oversight in prison security protocols. I can't help but wonder how such an organized attack, witnessed by other inmates, could happen without any guards intervening or sounding an alarm. Was security really that lax, or is there more to the story?
This situation must be so difficult for Carl Estep's family, knowing that he lost his life in such a brutal manner despite being in a supposedly secure environment. It's concerning to think if there were other failures in the system that might have contributed to this tragedy. Anyone else have insights on how these facilities handle safety and oversight during shift changes?
