Has anyone else been reading up on the Mills case from Breezewood? It's tough to grasp how such a violent crime could happen to people like Laura and Guy in their own home. I can't imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt during the attack. I've been thinking about the impact on the local community back in the '70s. Breezewood wasn’t exactly a place known for crime, and then this horrific event happens, shaking everyone's sense of safety. It must have been terrifying. Even though Surratt’s confession decades later brings some closure, it’s a reminder of how random and senseless violence can be. I truly hope it gives Laura and Guy's loved ones some peace, even if there are still so many unanswered questions out there.
