I was reading through the discussion on the Hyde murders today, and I couldn't stop thinking about the children. Richard and Donna's daughters survived such a horrific event, and I can only imagine the trauma they've had to endure since that night. Growing up with that kind of loss and fear must have been incredibly challenging for them. It's both sad and chilling to think about how they might have woken up to an empty house or, worse, been aware something terrible was happening. There are conflicting reports about whether they were asleep or hiding, but either way, those poor girls went through something no child should ever have to experience. I hope they found some peace and support in the years following the tragedy, especially with the spotlight on their family due to the unsolved nature of the case. Does anyone know if they ever spoke publicly about it or if any details were shared later about how they coped?
