Hey everyone, I keep thinking about the local perception of lovers’ lanes back in the 70s and how places like the secluded dirt road near Clinton Lake were seen as both romantic and risky. How surreal must it have been for John's van to be found there, with the engine still running? I can't imagine the terror he and Ranee must have experienced that night. Watching our teenagers leave home with such hopes and dreams, only for them to encounter unimaginable violence, is terrifying. I wonder if there are other forgotten details about the area that might shed light on this case somehow. Thoughts?
