I've been following Martha Bess Young's case closely, and one aspect that sticks with me is the location where her body was found. Lake Elsinore, with its vast, remote areas, unfortunately provided an all-too-convenient dumping ground for Suff. It's chilling to think that such a serene place could hide such horrors. I imagine that the topography of Riverside County made it incredibly challenging for law enforcement to even locate victims, let alone piece together the evidence from various crime scenes. It makes me wonder how many more lives could have been saved if these areas hadn't allowed Suff to operate for so long without detection. My heart truly goes out to Martha's family and all the affected families during those years. They deserved so much better.
