I'm really feeling for the family and friends of Ricky Parks during this difficult time. It's so unsettling to think of how many cases like this one have been happening at Lady Bird Lake. Even though the police have ruled out foul play in Ricky's case, it's understandable why this doesn't quite sit right with some folks. Just imagining how his loved ones must have felt waiting over a year for confirmation simply leaves me at a loss for words. I guess it’s a reminder of how important it is to understand the details of an investigation, even when it feels like there are more questions than answers. I hope that the community and investigators continue to work together so that peace and clarity can be found, however difficult that may be. My thoughts are with everyone who knew him.
