Hi everyone, I've been revisiting the Linda Pesce case and something has been puzzling me. Has anyone else questioned the psychic angle involving Howard Gay? I find it hard to believe that a psychic, out of the blue, could pinpoint such a remote and specific area like Sand Island. It feels like a detail that stands out as either highly coincidental or potentially significant in another way. Also, it's unsettling that Gay accurately led them close to the site but not exactly there. Was it luck, or was there something more to his story? I can't help but think about Linda's poor family, still without answers after all these years. Being left in the dark must be incredibly difficult for them. Would love to hear others' thoughts or if anyone has come across similar cases where psychics were involved. Could this have been a diversion tactic, or do such tips sometimes hold more truth than skepticism allows? Thinking of Linda and hoping someday her family finds closure.

Did anyone else catch that detail about the psychic in Linda Pesce’s case? I find it so odd that Howard Gay came to the police with information supposedly from a psychic. It might be just me, but that always seemed more like a diversion tactic rather than a genuine lead. Why would a psychic have such specific knowledge? And even with Howard being a suspect, they couldn't pin anything on him. It's so unsettling to think that someone might have been toying with the investigation like that. My thoughts are constantly with Linda's family, as the lack of closure must be incredibly difficult. Does anyone have more insights or theories on why Howard Gay might have gotten involved or how reliable these psychic claims were?
