I've been following the discussion around the tragic murders of Robin and Jay Fry, and wanted to bring up something that’s been bothering me. I read in an old newspaper that there was a mysterious bloody T-shirt found in Kickapoo Creek Park, supposedly linked to the Ruth Martin disappearance. Does anyone else think it's suspicious that this evidence was withheld? If this shirt was connected to Smrekar's string of horrific crimes, it makes you wonder what else was ignored or buried. More importantly, might those other investigations have saved lives if that T-shirt had been seriously considered? It's deeply troubling thinking about what Robin, Jay, and their unborn child might have been saved from had things been handled differently. Their families have been through so much already. It's hard to shake the feeling that justice still hasn't fully prevailed here. Thoughts or insights are welcome.

Hi everyone, I've been diving into the case of Robin and Jay Fry again, and I can't shake the feeling that there's more to uncover about that shady evidence-handling by the Lincoln PD. It's baffling how a bloody T-shirt found at Kickapoo Creek Park, which could have been crucial, seemingly vanished into thin air. I can’t help but wonder how it might have changed the course of the investigation. It’s so frustrating to think about what might have been if procedures had been followed properly from the start. Robin's family has suffered so much, and knowing that there could have been a chance to prevent further violence is infuriating. I'm curious—does anyone know if there’s been any traction on getting this aspect of the case reinvestigated? The community deserves answers, and it feels like this was a monumental failure in justice.
