Did anyone else notice how odd it is that the cash hidden under Martha's mattress wasn't taken? It seems strange to me that someone would ransack the room but leave that much money behind. Could it suggest that theft wasn’t the main motive? Or perhaps the perpetrator panicked and left in a hurry? The fact that Martha's murder was so brutal makes me wonder if it was driven by something more personal. I feel for Martha’s family; they must have so many questions still unanswered. It breaks my heart to think about what her life could have been.
I've been following Martha Kitzler's case and something about the timeline just doesn't sit right with me. From what I've read, Flavio Alvarez was supposed to meet Martha for lunch, and Silva told him she was in the shower. If Martha was preparing to meet Flavio, why would her room be ransacked? It seems odd that her room would be in such disarray if she was getting ready to head out. Did Silva have enough time to stage the room to make it look like a burglary while Alvarez was waiting? Or is there another explanation for the state of the room that we're missing? It’s gut-wrenching to think that this may have all happened while she was getting ready to spend time with someone she loved. My heart goes out to her family and friends who are still seeking justice all these years later.
