Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic Weathers case and something has been on my mind lately. In so many discussions, we focus on the relationship between Sherri and Danial Siebert, but less about young Joseph. It’s incredibly sad to think about the world he was growing up in. At just four years old, Joseph had his whole life ahead of him and was still discovering the world with the curiosity and innocence only a child possesses. I can't stop wondering about the moment Joseph might have realized something was wrong. It's a haunting thought. It's heartbreaking to consider how frightened he and Chad must have been during those final moments. I keep hoping that they both felt their mother’s love, even in those terrifying times. It’s painful to reflect on how these children were surrounded by loved ones yet ultimately betrayed by someone who was brought into their lives as a friend. Joseph deserved a chance to grow up in a loving environment, and it's deeply unsettling to know that was taken from him. If there’s anything positive to come from discussing such cases, I think it’s the reminder of the importance of protecting our children and being vigilant about those we trust with their care.
