I’ve been thinking about the neighborhood on N. East Street where Willie Darnell Kornegay was last seen. Does anyone familiar with Raleigh's history during that time have any insight? Was it known for anything specific in the early '80s? It might help us understand the environment he was in when he went missing. Neighborhood dynamics can sometimes offer clues or at least context. I've read somewhere that local events or conditions can sometimes impact a case, even if it’s indirectly. Any thoughts or info would be appreciated!
