Does anyone else find it unsettling how little coverage these cases have received over the years? I've been following the Nassau County serial murders, and I keep coming back to Genise Wilder. Her story resonates deeply with me — not just because of the brutal way she was taken, but the way her life seemed to be written off.
It's frustrating to think about the lack of justice for her and the other women. Genise was someone’s daughter, friend, maybe even a sister. I can’t help but wonder what kind of person she might have become if she had the chance. It’s also baffling how Allen Gormely Jr., suspected in numerous cases, was never charged for Genise’s murder or the others. I understand the need for concrete evidence, but it makes my heart ache that he might have more answers—and justice could still be out there.
Who else has done a deep dive into this case? Any thoughts on why these murders haven't been solved after all this time?
