I’ve been diving into the Dean Phillip Carter case, and one thing that’s really been sticking with me is how Carter managed to evade capture for as long as he did. I mean, he was crossing cities and nobody put the pieces together until after he’d left such a tragic mark on so many lives. It’s incredibly frustrating. Tok Chum Kim, like all of his victims, was living her life just trying to get by when this monster crossed her path. It's scary how quickly things escalated and how one person can inflict so much pain in such a short time. My thoughts are with the friends and families of all the victims—what an unimaginable nightmare to have gone through. Why do you think it took the police that long to catch him? Were there just too many different jurisdictions involved or something else at play?
