I've been following Cynthia Jabour's case for a while and something that's always intrigued me is the abandoned car found at Caesar's Palace. It's such a public place, so why leave it there? Was it meant to be found, or could it have been a red herring to throw off investigators? The fact that there were no signs of struggle in the car or significant personal belongings inside makes it even more puzzling. I've read that parking garages back then didn't have extensive surveillance like today, so it would have been easier to go unnoticed while moving it. It's chilling to think about what might have happened in the hours after she left Weeks' condo. Does anyone have more info on how detailed the investigations into this aspect of the case were? Why didn’t they find more leads from such a public place?
Hey everyone,
I can't get Cynthia Jabour's case out of my head lately, especially with how her car was found abandoned at Caesar's Palace. Does anyone else find it strange that she left behind those expensive clothes and a substantial securities account worth $47,000? It’s almost like she intended to come back soon, or maybe she felt the urgency to leave without fetching anything?
Given how her car was left there, I wonder if anyone recalls the security measures in place at Caesar's back in 1980. Were there cameras or staff that could have seen something suspicious? It just seems like such a high-risk move on Robert Weeks' part to abandon her car in such a public area, yet it’s clear he got away with a lot before his eventual arrest. Was it careless or calculated, in your opinion?
Also, the securities account has been bugging me... Why didn’t anyone close to her pick up on that and try to move it? Just curious if there might have been some leads missed early on when the account was untouched.
Let’s dig deeper and see if there are any overlooked connections we might string together from these loose threads. ?️‍♀️
Anyone else find it chilling how Cynthia Jabour just vanished after being seen in the lobby of Robert Weeks' condo that night? What's so weird is how she just left all her stuff behind. I mean, a securities account worth $47k just sitting there untouched? ? Doesn't add up, right? Especially in Vegas. Wonder if she was planning to disappear herself or if that just shows how abruptly everything ended. The fact that Weeks had that history with other disappearances makes it even more suspicious. And the car at Caesar’s Palace – kinda feels like one of those crime novels where the clues are all out of place. Anyone got theories on what might have gone down that night?
