Has anyone else looked into how Efren Saldivar's actions were even possible at Glendale Adventist? Eleanora Schlegel's case is so devastating because she was showing signs of recovery before this nightmare unfolded. She wasn’t just another patient; she was someone’s mother, grandmother, friend. It's chilling to think that she fell victim to someone who was supposed to be caring for her. I can't help but wonder about the kind of oversight (or lack thereof) in place that allowed Saldivar to operate undetected for so long. The systemic failures that let someone like him have access to vulnerable patients need to be discussed more. My heart goes out to the Schlegel family and all the other families affected. They deserve answers and systemic changes to prevent this from ever happening again.
