Has anyone else been struck by the sheer complexity behind how Denise Bush's remains were discovered? The fact that her skull was found in Oregon, so far from where she disappeared, doesn't just underscore how calculated Gary Ridgway was, but also highlights the deep disregard he had for these women. It’s chilling to consider that Ridgway admitted to relocating her skull to mislead investigators. As if the anguish of not knowing what happened to Denise for years wasn’t enough for her family. It’s just so difficult to comprehend the added torment of realizing the person responsible was intentionally trying to cover his tracks all along. My heart sincerely goes out to Denise’s loved ones. It’s cases like these that remind us how crucial it is to continue working towards protecting those in vulnerable situations.
