I can't stop thinking about the lives that were so unjustly taken away and the immense sorrow that must have lingered for the Cruse family over the years. Out of everything I've read, I'm particularly struck by the bravery of their brother. Imagine the anguish of discovering such a horrific scene and then bearing that weight for over four decades without answers or closure. It's truly inspiring to see advances in forensic technology contribute to solving cold cases like this one. But while it's a relief that a suspect has finally been identified, it must also be incredibly painful for the families to relive those difficult times. My thoughts are with them as they go through this process, and I hope the legal proceedings provide some measure of comfort knowing that their sisters and other victims will not be forgotten. Kudos to all the investigators who stayed committed to seeking justice for Debra, Beverly, and the other victims.
