Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on Leafie Mason's sister after her death? It's incredibly sad to think that Leafie was not just a victim herself, but her murder also affected the most vulnerable person in her life. Leafie was her mentally disabled sister's lifeline, visiting her every day and taking care of her needs. This part of the tragedy often gets overlooked, but it’s such a reminder of the ripple effects of these horrific crimes. I just feel deep sympathy for her sister, who must have felt utterly lost after losing such an important figure in her life. Does anyone know if Leafie's sister received the support she needed afterward? It breaks my heart to think about how many lives Reséndiz's actions shattered beyond the direct victims.
