Hey everyone, I came across this case recently, and something that really struck me was Myeong-hi Chong's fear of water. This small detail is so haunting to me. Her sister mentioned that she was terrified of water and couldn't swim, yet her death was ruled a drowning. That just doesn't sit right, knowing she would have likely done everything to avoid being near the lake. It's devastating how her fear might have reflected the reality of her situation with Reeves, who seemed to have control over every aspect of her life, even in death. When someone is so scared and talks to loved ones about their fear, it's hard to ignore when something tragic like this happens. I can't imagine the anguish her family feels knowing she was cremated before a thorough investigation could have been done. It's just a reminder of how important every detail is in cases like these and how vital it is for authorities to listen to the victim's loved ones.
