On January 31, 2007, Jarrell Reid, a 21-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio, was shot in a drive-by shooting. The incident took place in Dayton, Montgomery County, and left Reid critically injured. After fighting for his life for five days, he tragically passed away on February 5, 2007. Despite the passage of time, his homicide remains unsolved, and law enforcement continues to seek information from the public to help bring the perpetrators to justice.
