Has anyone else been struck by the level of violence in the Margaret Harold case? The fact that Margaret was not only shot but also violated afterward is just beyond comprehension. It’s terrifying to think what her boyfriend went through, escaping on foot and finding help. And it’s chilling to imagine the kind of person who could do something so heinous and then keep those grotesque collections in that cinderblock building. I can't even begin to understand how someone becomes capable of such acts. My thoughts are with Margaret’s family and her boyfriend. This must have been an incredibly traumatic experience, and living with the knowledge of what happened can’t be easy. It’s these kinds of details that really haunt you. Even all these decades later, the impact on those left behind must be profound.
