Hey folks, I've been digging into the Bill Fickel case lately, and one thing that's really been sticking out to me is the potential witness who might have been present during the crime. It just blows my mind that after all these years, we haven't heard from this person. ?
I can't stop thinking about how crucial this witness could be to finally bringing justice for Bill. They might hold the key to connecting Rebert directly to the murder or perhaps even shed light on the motive or events leading up to it. I can only imagine the kind of fear or uncertainty they may be facing, especially with someone as dangerous as Rebert involved.
Part of me wonders if the $100,000 reward could help convince the witness to come forward, or if there's something else holding them back. We all know these cases often hinge on that one piece of information that cracks it wide open. Given that this witness might have been in the car, surely they would have seen or heard something that could make a difference.
What do you guys think could be done to encourage this person to speak up after all this time? Maybe there's more to the story that we don't know about, but for now, my thoughts are with Bill's family as they continue to wait for closure. It's got to be tough knowing a potential witness might be out there with the answers they desperately need. Stay strong, everyone. ?
I've been following Bill Fickel's case for a while, and I can't help but think about the significance of the cigarette butt found at the crime scene. It's frustrating that something as seemingly small as a cigarette could hold such crucial evidence yet still not be enough to close the case. It's curious to me that with Rebert's DNA found at the scene, combined with his criminal record, we still don't have a concrete charge against him.
It’s truly upsetting to imagine the pain Bill's family carries every day, knowing there's a potential witness who hasn’t come forward. I can only hope that someone with information finds the courage to speak up. Everyone deserves closure, and right now, it feels like justice for Bill is just out of reach. Thoughts?
