Does anyone else find it strange that there was a possible sighting of Connie at a payphone across the street, yet nothing definitive ever came from it? I can't help but wonder if there's any chance someone might remember seeing her or overhearing part of a conversation that night. I understand it was a long time ago, but sometimes people don't realize the significance of what they've seen or heard until much later. My heart goes out to Connie's loved ones, especially because this painful uncertainty has lasted for decades. If anyone reading this was around Mt. Clemens in 1990, it might be worth racking your brains for any small detail—it could make all the difference. I'm really hoping Detective Lieutenant Melissa Stevens and the community can piece together more information to finally bring some resolution to her family.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Connie Royce’s case for a while, and I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind: the potential sighting of Connie at the payphone right across from the Hayloft Bar.
Given how late it was and Connie’s state that night, I can’t help but wonder if she was trying to reach out for help or connect with someone she trusted. It’s so frustrating that this sighting didn’t lead anywhere because a simple phone call could hold so many clues.
Detective Lieutenant Melissa Stevens has been doing amazing work, and maybe there’s a chance that advances in tech could help analyze phone records from back then (if they even exist anymore). Just thinking about her family and how tough it must be for them, not knowing what happened. Hoping for some kind of breakthrough soon.
