It's puzzling to me how there's so much focus on the initial hours of Karen Ann Harmon's disappearance, yet so little on the location itself. Timber, Oregon was quite a small and remote place back in 1982, right? Has anyone looked into the local community back then? It’s difficult to believe someone could go missing without someone, even inadvertently, knowing or seeing something. Did Karen have any friends or enemies there, or perhaps people she interacted with regularly at the store? Sometimes it helps looking into the dynamics of the community around such a secluded area, especially in those days when everyone knew everyone else's business. Might lead to some fresh perspectives or motives, at least, I hope so for the family’s sake. Thoughts?
