Has anyone else noticed how peculiar it is that the abductor commented on Ann's resemblance to his ex-wife? It seems like one of those lines that might reveal more about the perpetrator's state of mind or motives. Was he simply trying to justify his actions, or could this suggest some deeper psychological issue that authorities might be missing? It makes me wonder if there's a pattern in similar cases where abductors project personal relationships onto their victims. Also, does anyone know if any composite sketches were released to the public at the time based on Ann's description? Could be worth revisiting if they didn't gain much traction back then.
