I've been reading about the Otero family tragedy, and I keep thinking about how this affected Charlie, the 15-year-old who found his family that day. I can't imagine the trauma of coming home and discovering such a horrific scene. Charlie was thrust into a nightmare that no teenager should ever have to endure. It's a stark reminder of the lifelong impact these crimes have on the surviving family members. The strength it must have taken for him to carry on is truly unimaginable. My heart goes out to him and the whole Otero family. It's important to remember the victims, not just for their tragic end but for the lives they lived and the loved ones they left behind.
