Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Sandra Lincoln, and something that's been weighing heavily on my mind is the hiring practices at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It boggles my mind that Heather Pressdee was able to work there, especially with her track record at previous facilities. How did her history not raise red flags for Sunnyview? We're talking about a series of deeply concerning incidents at ten other places before she even set foot there. For those who have experience in nursing home administration or healthcare hiring, how common is it for places to overlook such vital background information? Is there a systemic issue here, or was this an unfortunate oversight by Sunnyview? My thoughts are with Sandra's family and all the others who have been affected.
