I keep going back to the fact Martha Erickson spent so much time helping others at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. It speaks volumes about the kind of person she was—selfless, caring, and dedicated to supporting those around her. It just makes her murder all the more tragic. Many people who knew her describe her as a light for others, regardless of her own struggles. What really puzzles me is the link between Martha and the other two women. I mean, what are the odds? All three women met such violent ends within a short span of time. The connection is chilling, and I can't help but think there must be something more that ties their cases together. And yet, here we are, decades later, still without answers. Forensically speaking, I wonder if modern techniques, like DNA analysis advancements, could help even after all these years. Exposure to water is a nightmare for evidence preservation, but technology has evolved so much since 1995. It's frustrating to think that someone might know something vital that could piece this puzzle together but has stayed silent all these years. My heart goes out to Martha’s family and friends who must still be searching for closure.

I’ve been following the case of Martha "Marty" Erickson for a while, and what really strikes me is her dedication to helping others. It's deeply saddening to think that someone who spent so much time supporting individuals at AA meetings, even though she wasn't an alcoholic herself, could meet such a tragic end. It just seems so unfair. I wonder if her kind nature and selfless acts might have inadvertently put her in harm's way. It’s possible that she encountered someone troubled at one of these meetings, or maybe in her personal life, who might have taken advantage of her compassion. It adds another layer of tragedy to think that her willingness to help others could have been linked to her death. If anyone has information, it’s crucial to come forward. Martha and her family deserve some closure. I truly hope law enforcement eventually gets the break they need to solve not only her case but potentially the linked cases of Susan Kersten and Donna Lee Marshall. Let’s keep this conversation going and pray for justice.
