I’ve been following the tragic case of Eustaquio “Tico” Martinez, and something that deeply upsets me is how his life was unfairly swept up in Manuel Pardo’s twisted narrative. Tico wasn’t involved in drugs; he was just caught in the crosshairs of Pardo's delusion of his so-called crusade. It’s infuriating to think someone could have the audacity to act as judge, jury, and executioner while hiding behind a badge. The weight of the grief that Tico’s family must carry is unimaginable—knowing their loved one was taken so senselessly. It’s scary to think about the number of unsung heroes, like Tico, whose true stories are overshadowed by the evil acts of others. My thoughts are with all those affected by this senseless string of murders.
