Hey everyone, I was just going through the old case files of John Scott Holt and something caught my attention that hadn't struck me before. I find it puzzling that despite a fairly detailed description of what he was last seen wearing—maroon sweatpants and a gold religious medal—there seems to have been little focus on tracking down the origin or specifics of that medal. I mean, certain types of religious jewelry can occasionally be unique or even traceable, right? I'm curious if anyone following this case knows whether any efforts were ever made in this direction. Did they ever check with local jewelers or religious supply shops in San Francisco to see if anyone remembered selling such a piece? It's a long shot for sure, given how much time has passed, but sometimes the smallest detail can trigger a new lead or memory. Thoughts?
