I recently stumbled upon the discussion about Jill Allen from the 1986 case. I've been thinking a lot about the circumstances surrounding her tragic fate. One thing that really puzzles me, besides the obvious absence of justice for Jill and her loved ones, is the recurring patterns in these kinds of cases. It seems like the authorities back then just didn’t have the tools or resources we have today to track someone like this "Dr. No," who was reportedly using CB radio to interact with potential victims. Imagine how challenging it must have been to trace someone across multiple states in the mid-80s. I can't help but feel for Jill's family and the other victims who may still have similar unsolved mysteries connected to them. It must be so difficult to live without knowing who was responsible or why something so awful happened. Even though the case has gone cold, I hope with advancements in technology and renewed interest in cold cases, there might someday be answers for all involved. It’s a reminder that while many cases like these fade from the public eye, they are never forgotten by those who cared about the victims. Let's keep these women in our thoughts and remain hopeful for justice.
