Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Ronnie Gorlin case from the Flat-Tire Murders and something that really stood out to me was the eerie method the killer used. The idea of someone deliberately deflating tires and then swooping in as a "Good Samaritan" is beyond chilling. It’s haunting to think that Ronnie, like so many others, might have initially felt relief seeing a person approach to help, only for it to be a ruse. What’s even more unsettling is how this predatory strategy preys on people's natural inclination to trust and accept help when they're in distress. It's a harsh reminder of how vulnerable we can be in seemingly everyday situations. My thoughts are with Ronnie’s loved ones and all the families impacted by this cruel series of events. It's deeply frustrating that after all these years, there still aren't answers. Does anyone else have any thoughts on why these killers choose such elaborate schemes rather than more direct methods? This level of planning seems to suggest that the perpetrator was not just physically strong but also psychologically manipulative, which might point to specific personality traits or a possible history of similar crimes. Would love to hear your insights. Stay safe out there.
