Does anyone else find it chilling how Mullin manipulated situations to make his murders seem almost fated? Reading about how he lured Lawrence White under the guise of needing help just sends shivers down my spine. It’s terrifying to think how vulnerable someone can be in an attempt to do a good deed. My heart goes out to White’s family and loved ones. They never got the closure they deserved, with him being a drifter and all. It must have been awful to not even know for months what happened to him. Mullin's twisted interpretation of reality makes you wonder how many others might have encountered him without even knowing it. How can someone’s mind get so distorted by delusions? It’s all so unnerving.
