I've been reading through the details of Kim Wildman's case and something that stands out to me is the sheer bravery she must have had. Even after suffering such brutal injuries, she found the strength to call 911. It's truly incredible how she fought to the very end. It just goes to show her resilience and will to survive. I also can't stop thinking about how unsettling it is that the attacker lived just two houses away. It's chilling to think about the danger being so close by. And for her family and friends, the sense of betrayal by someone who was supposed to be a neighbor must have been unimaginably painful. This case really highlights how critical DNA evidence has become in solving these kinds of crimes, offering justice years after they occurred. My heart goes out to Kim’s loved ones; I hope knowing that justice was finally served brings them a measure of peace.
