I've been following the tragic case of Destenie Alexandria Mendez, and it's been hard to wrap my head around it. I can't stop thinking about the immense courage it took for Destenie to approach that group, trying to maintain the peace in her community. Property managers have tough jobs, and it’s clear she was dedicated and cared deeply about the people living in the complex. What's been on my mind is how quickly a situation can escalate. It's truly scary to think that something meant to be resolved with words ended with such devastating violence. Her family must be going through unimaginable pain right now, especially since it happened right in front of her husband and others. Even knowing what Kevin did, I can’t help but feel for their kids who now have to deal with this tragic situation, losing their mother and having their family torn apart. Sending all my thoughts to her family and friends, and hoping they find strength in each other during this incredibly difficult time.
