Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy might have on Charity Freeman's young children? Losing a parent in such a violent way is unimaginably traumatic. It's just gut-wrenching to think about what they are going through right now. I sincerely hope that they have access to counseling and a strong support system as they try to make sense of this nightmare. And major kudos to their grandmother for stepping up to take them in during such a difficult time. Does anyone have experience with similar situations and the kinds of resources that might be available for families in this kind of crisis? Sending all my love and support to those babies and everyone affected.
