Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of DeElvin Deshaun Smith's shooting, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are facing such a difficult time. Something that's been on my mind is the location of the incident—the 4300 block of W. Camp Wisdom Road. For those familiar with the Red Bird area, is this spot known for any particular issues or activity? I've read various reports about crime in the neighborhood, but nothing specific about this location. I'm wondering if there are any community members or local residents who might have some insights or have noticed anything unusual around that area, either on the night of the tragedy or in the days leading up to it. This might be a stretch, but even small details could help the investigation. If anyone has thoughts or information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, I really encourage you to reach out to Detective Adam Thayer. Let's all hope for some answers soon so that DeElvin’s loved ones can find some peace.
