I've been following the Karen Alexander case from Corpus Christi, and I can't help but feel for her daughter, Rusti. It's unthinkable what she's going through right now, especially having to cope with this tragedy on what was supposed to be a day of celebration for her parents' 35th anniversary. It sounds like David was pushed to the absolute brink, trying to hang on while juggling multiple jobs and facing the reality of Karen’s illness. It’s just all too sad. I hope Rusti finds some support through the fundraiser she's started. Every little bit might help provide some relief during such a trying time. Sending love to everyone affected.

I came across this case, and it's left me thinking about the incredible stress caregivers endure, often in silence. From what I've gathered about Karen and David Alexander, it seems their situation was just so overwhelming. Imagine trying to juggle multiple jobs like David did, all while watching someone you love suffer every day with no relief in sight. I can only think of how deeply committed he must have been to take on such a burden, both financially and emotionally. It's a reminder that sometimes we need to check in on those who care for others, even if they seem to have it all together. My heart goes out to their daughter Rusti and the rest of the family. I hope they can find some peace as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
