I'm so incredibly saddened by the loss of Kelvin Jackson. It sounds like he was an amazing person who genuinely cared for the well-being of those around him. Stepping into a volatile situation like that takes so much courage and selflessness. What happened to him is a stark reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control, especially when someone is dealing with underlying issues like Chris Batiste did. It's just devastating to see someone who was actively trying to do the right thing pay such a heavy price. The struggle to reintegrate into society after prison is a massive issue that can't be ignored, and in this case, it seems it played a significant role. It makes you think about how many similar crises are happening around us without ever reaching this kind of tragic end.
