This case just seems to keep getting more confusing. My heart goes out to Johnny Johnson's family; I can't imagine the pain they're going through. That said, I'm really puzzled about Nathan Franklin's behavior post-shooting. Why did he drive away with the vehicle but leave Johnny behind? And why call his stepson to come to the location without trying to get help for Johnny? Was it panic, or was something else going on? It sort of feels like these actions might tell us something about his state of mind at the time. Was he trying to cover up what happened, or was there another motive? I guess more details will emerge as the investigation continues, but these questions are just haunting me. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
