I can't stop thinking about the aftermath for Cameron Girvin's family, especially his wife Jessica who is expecting their baby girl. It's hard to imagine the pain she's going through right now, losing her husband this way and having to navigate such a bittersweet moment with their daughter Paisley on the way. I really hope the community continues to rally around her and the rest of Cameron's family. It's also infuriating that someone would try to exploit this tragedy for personal gain, like that guy who created the fake fundraiser. It just feels so disrespectful during a time when the focus should be on honoring Cameron and Christopher Reese's memories. Thankfully, the fraudulent fundraiser was caught before any money was taken, but it's a reminder to double-check any fundraisers. My thoughts and prayers go out to both families and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
