I wanted to take a moment to talk about T.J.'s influence on kids in his neighborhood. I didn't know him personally, but I live nearby, and I often saw him at the local community center shooting hoops with the younger kids. From what I gathered, he had a natural ability to connect with them, especially through basketball. It's devastating to think that these kids won't have T.J.'s positive presence in their lives anymore. It was clear he had a big heart and truly wanted to make a difference. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for his daughter and family. It's time we seriously address the root causes of gun violence in our community to prevent further tragedies. T.J.'s absence leaves a significant gap, and I genuinely hope his loved ones find some peace and support during this challenging time.
