Hi everyone I am Charlie’s wife. It brought warmth to my heart to see the posts here. My husband was not a vagrant he was residing at the motel on and off for with ones and everyone there knew hone with no issues ever. He was a hardworking man we have two special needs littles and he had actually spent time with his boys hours prior to the incident. He was unarmed and this was a verbal altercation that resulted in the guard shooting him in the chest. Time of the call stated was 3:10am my husbands time of death is listed at 3:58am and they met took him off property for medical attention in that time.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am so sorry for your unimaginable loss.
Kp, So sorry to hear about your loss. It's just unimagineable. Keep us posted on the grand jury. Hopefully you and your kids get justice for this. :(
It has changed our lives forever. I just have no words and I hope the guards family never has to know the paint my family and I have faced with this. I sat next to my dead husband for three hours at the funeral home. My husband and son’s father was take away at age 38. It could have and should have been avoided at any cost other than that. No weapon. Not to mention the guard is significantly larger than my husband was
Hi there I am his wife and I appreciate your kind words. Unfortunately we are still waiting on the grand hey date to be set. My husband was a good man and had been staying there for eight months on and off so he could be close to work and still be close to his family and our two boys. He was unarmed in this event and it was a verbal altercation. He was shit and killed in the parking lost and articles say when the police arrived he was deceased he was not the call came in at 3:19 and my husbands time of death on the cert was 3:58. He never made it out of the parking lot to a trauma center for whatever reason. They allowed my husband to lay there for that long with a life threatening wound to his center chest.
