I've been following the case of Shirley Ann Gabbert lately, and I keep thinking about how deeply this must be affecting her students and colleagues at Ronceverte Elementary. It's so sad to imagine the shock and confusion those kids are probably going through. She likely spent years dedicating herself to helping them learn and grow, and now she's gone in such a horrific way. It really hits home how senseless violence like this leaves ripples that affect so many lives. I hope the school has support systems in place for both the kids and staff to process this tragedy. It's a reminder that acts of violence don't just impact those directly involved, but whole communities. Sending out thoughts of comfort and strength to everyone feeling this loss.
