I've been following the case of Nathaniel Gage Jones, and I can't help but feel for his family, especially his adoptive parents, Bill and Vicki. Imagine raising someone as your own for over two decades and then having this happen just before Christmas. It's such a cruel twist of fate to have this tragedy strike during a time meant for family and togetherness.
I find it so chilling that it was another family member, Charly Yuretich, who was taken into custody. How could something like this happen within a family? It brings up so many questions about what might have been going on behind closed doors. Were there any signs or anything that could have been noticed before it was too late?
If anyone reading this is from the area or knows more, I hope you feel comfortable sharing any details, as I'm sure it could really help. I also hope the community comes together to support Nate's loved ones as they navigate this unimaginably difficult time. Sending strength to all affected.

I was really close to them when this happened but mainly I was close to Charly. Both the victim and the perpetrator had severe mental issues. The parents knew this. Yeah when it came to getting Charly help mentally he was told essentially that they thought he was faking. Even when he was telling them he wanted to kill himself and that he thought he was already dead. Seeing the conditions they lived in and seeing how the children were treated in that household this is not something that surprised anyone. Actually most locals thought at first before details were released that the victim had been the one being the perpetrator just because of him being arrested so often due to complications with his schizophrenia. also Charly was not allowed to attend public school therefore taking away one of the only outlets for help most children have... It's in my personal opinion that had Bill and Vicki gotten him help when he was begging for it this would not have happened and our worlds wouldn't have been turned upside down. This all culminated in an argument. Which Vicki swears is the reason this happened. But if two people are arguing over a cat and one person kills the other it's not the cat's fault. When confronted with that fact she argued that the cat was in fact at fault. Just goes to show how twisted the thought process is in her brain. I feel so bad for the rest of their family... For the adult and minor siblings who will have to deal with this tragedy for the rest of their lives... All children deserve parents but not all parents deserve their children.
